So much Saturday! (and a FREEBIE)

Hey there! Does anyone else feel like your head is already spinning?! School hasn't even started yet and I'm already loosing my train of thought in mid sentence. I am here with Five for Friday (on Saturday AGAIN...blogger fail), and I am also linking up for the Bright Ideas linky that has nothing but AMAZING ideas from bloggers all around the country. After joining this online teacher community I don't know how I ever lived without it! I gain so many new ideas and AHA moments from other teachers and I am now convinced that teachers are superhero's.

Let's get to it!

I have been slaving away in my classroom and the number one area that I just LOVE is my teacher table and writing focus wall.

I created these writing process posters and love their simple, kid-friendly wording. Head to my instagram at @mrshudgenshearsawho to find out how you can get them FREE.

I hit some milestones this week and although I'm sure they are child's play compared to others, they are a big deal to me! I was practically jumping out of my skin at every follow and like :)

Since taking this picture yesterday I have gotten up to 155 followers and even more views on the blog! It feels so exciting to know that I can network with teachers I have never met and continue to stay passionate about this profession. This blogging/social media teacher community is my glass half full for a career that tends to look on the glass half empty side.

I wanted to share two new TPT teacher blogger/instagrammer that I discovered this week and I just fell in love with their products.

<div align="center"><a href="" title="Chalk & Apples"><img src="" alt="Chalk & Apples" style="border:none;" /></a></div>

Kristen from Chalk and Apples has some amazing products in her store like the teacher toolbox labels I bought, and tons of other things to put to use in your classroom! Go check her out by clicking here.

The other teacher blogger I found is Totally Terrific in Texas.

She has seriously the most precious products including Bloom's Buttons. Click the picture below to view the product!

I plan on getting these and several other products to put into action this year!

I have been asked several times this week by friends and co-workers about where I get my clipart so i thought I would share my favorite.

I love all of Krista's clipart and her VIP club's are awesome! Go check her out by clicking on the picture above!

Lastly I am posting a FREEBIE for hitting over 150 followers on instagram and over 1,000 views on my blog in just two short weeks!

Click the link above to get these colorful math manipulative labels for free! I made these for a friend today so I thought I would share the love.

Don't forget to click the Five for Friday button above to see all the other Five for Friday posts at Doodle Bugs Teaching!

Now onto the Bright Idea linky...

For my bright idea I am sharing an idea I found on pinterest that I plan to put in place this year in Second Grade.

Absent folders-put on absent student's desk to collect work throughout the day. Mrs. Terhune's First Grade Site!
Absent folders... What a genius idea! When a student is gone, place the absent folder on their desk and put all their work for the day in that. When the student returns just transfer the work from the absent folder to their own! There you more trying to remember who was absent or who missed the test! Love this idea and I plan on making my own absent folder covers.

Thanks for reading! Come back again soon!
